Theresa Flynt
Executive Vice President
LFP Inc.
Theresa Flynt was born in Dayton, Ohio. She lived a short time in the Midwest until, at the age of 13, she moved to Beverly Hills to live with her father, Larry Flynt, creator of the world–famous Hustler Empire. She attended Mt. Saint Mary's College, an all-women's college with a religious slant, and graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing.
After college, Theresa's father approached her with news that he planned to diversify the Hustler brand and take it mainstream. Recognizing the dearth of friendly, open-concept sex stores that played to the general population, Theresa set out to create a new concept in adult retail—a store that not only sold toys, apparel and sexual accoutrements, but celebrated it! Bright, airy and comfortable, the store's impact on the Los Angeles landscape was groundbreaking, resulting in coverage on the pages of Los Angeles Magazine, Allure, Cosmopolitan and many others, as well as exposure on networks like E! Entertainment, and in shows such as Entourage, The Real L Word and Sex and the City.
The Hustler Hollywood chain has expanded to 14 stores nation-wide with plans to open many more in the next few years. As EVP of Flynt Management Group, Theresa is responsible for overseeing the design, building and day-to-day operations of the retail powerhouse as well as overseeing the work and accomplishments of many divisions in the Hustler portfolio.
Theresa has graced the cover of AVN Online and been featured in O! Magazine, Playgirl, Los Angeles Magazine, Glamour UK and XBIZ World. Most recently AVN Magazine named her one of its "Top 50 Influential People" under the age of 40.
A dedicated animal lover, Theresa spends her free time with her two rescued dogs, traveling and generally enjoying life in Los Angeles with friends and family.
